Dear all,

Can anybody explain me what is the definition of "low-pass whole genome sequencing"?

I have seen it in many papers but I am not sure about its exact meaning.

Regards

Nazanin

It refers to low-coverage whole-genome sequencing

performed to assess genomic variations such as aneuploidy, where large regions or whole chromosomes can be duplicated or deleted, and benefit from clear and precise data generated in a single-day workflow at an affordable price
