Hello Everyone, I would like to know that what would be the future of De-bruijn graph based assemblers? The reason to ask this question is that already third generation sequencing technologies are generating longer reads and De-bruijn graph technique is something which is used for assembling short reads. As longer reads are the output of sequencing technologies these days, De-bruijn graph based technique will be still relevant in the future for assembling problem?
