Getting both text and html in blast output?

Hi,

I would like to receive both the .html output by providing the -html flag and the text output by providing the -outfmt 7 flag in blast+. I would like to do this without having to run blastn twice.

Does anyone know how I could do this?

always save your blast result as XML; Then for example using a XSLT stylesheet you can convert the XML to whatever you want:

xsltproc --novalid blast2html.xsl blast.xml
