Hi can anybody suggest me a best graphical representation for permutation data. i have results from like 100, 1000, 3000 permutations and i want to know how can i present them other than just putting in tables

I will appreciate if you can suggest anything

I suggest that you plot out various summary statistics of whatever it is your're looking at, i.e., plot the summary statistic per permutation as a barplot, box + whisker plot, line graph, violin plot, or something else, such as:

  • variance
  • mean
  • median
  • standard deviation
  • upper quartile cut-off
  • lower quartile cut-off
  • Minimum
  • Maximum

Hopefully these will remain mostly constant in each permutation.
