I am planning to get subscription of Amazon cloud for deploying software and allow other users to run their analysis using the deployed tool. Does any one has any experience working with Amazon and if collaborator has to run analysis do they need to pay separate subscription. Any pointer will be greatly appreciated.
Maybe not the mort "orthodox" answer, but we had a Minecraft server running on an Amazon cloud, and it was slow as hell. Then again, for computationally easier tasks, I guess it would work ok. :)
If you are going to give access to others to use your instance then you could do it using this. Since they are using your instance you will be billed.
I am not sure what one needs to do to "sell" an application in Amazon AWS (e.g. Blast). That may be other option to look at if you want them to pay for their own cloud resources.
