[FastML] Problem with input newick tree

Dear forumers,

I have a problem using FastML. I am using it from the command line However, the program terminates and returns :

sh: 1: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")
    FASTML EXIT ON ERROR:
FASTML failed to run, one of the files seq.marginal.txt or prob.marginal.txt were not created...

I can't see any mistake in my input files so, any help would be a blessing as I am totally stuck.

Sometimes the Newick format has some extra information that not all software likes, like Bootstrap values etc.

Does your tree look like ((A:1, B:1), C:1)? Have you tried deleting the numbers?
