I know that back in the days there was an opportunity to easily view how many full genomes where sequenced on NCBI web-site, but now i can't understand whether the numbers that I'm looking at are valid. For example, I want to know how many eukaryotes have their genome sequenced (the number that I see tight now is 16037) is this correct? And if so, can you suggest any other sources where I can see stats like this? Thank you

GenoMax 141k

You still can. Take a look at the report file for GenBank genomes available here. If you are only interested in RefSeq genomes then check this file.

You can also find that information in an interactive table on this web page.
