You need to provide more details for this question to be answered. What are "fingerprints"? Do you mean peptide fingerprints? What do som, sim, net and img mean? Most people cannot tell what you are doing from these abbreviations. I'm guessing, from a Google search, that you are using neural networks, but you need to be more specific.

[EDIT] Original poster writes: thank 's Neilfws for your reply, as you said i m working on an implementation of Self-organizing map (kohonen map) to do fingerprints matching , each fingerprint is identified by Bifurcation [64x8] Ridge ending [64x8] so each fingerprint[64x16] and img is the same presentation of a fingerprint, som is kohonen map of 64 fingerprint and sim is function that evaluate the img to know its class.

[EDIT] seidel writes: Holy cow, still totally incomprehensible to me. I have no idea if you're referring to ridges of skin that make up finger prints (literally) or something else (figuratively), as you didn't really answer Neilfws direct question. Q: What's a finger print? A: Bifurcation [64x8] Ridge ending. Q: What's Bifurcation Ridge ending?
