This is probably a very basic question but would the TaqMan™ Advanced miRNA Human A and B Cards a single or dual color microarray. I am observing a batch effect with my samples being analyzed at different times. I have used batch in the linear model and also correct for batch bias with combat and sva before running the linear model. While they seem to do the job I am worried they are 'over-correcting' and i am losing true biological results. So I wanted to look at limma package as there are some functions within this package to "correct" for this however I am unsure which method from this package is appropriate based on this type of array.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since the listing for the product shows only one dye (FAM) this should be a single color detection.
