We are a young, dynamic group looking for highly motivated research assistants with research interests in host genetics and viral interactions in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). We develop inter-disciplinary methods including experimental techniques and technology development around hiPSCs from AD patients, as well as computational and statistical genetics/genomics methods. Ideal candidates with strong backgrounds in computational biology, genomics and human genetics, and are interested in learning cutting edge experimental technologies, are highly encouraged to apply.
Candidates should have a BS in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, statistics or other quantitative sciences. Please contact elaine.lim at umassmed.edu with a cover letter and CV if interested.
