Hello Everyone

I am trying to generate transcriptomes using Stringtie and Stringtie-merge tools and getting error like:

Execution resulted in the following messages:

Fatal error: Exit code 1 ()
Tool generated the following standard error:

Error: no valid ID found for GFF record
Detected Common Potential Problems
The tool was executed with one or more duplicate input datasets. This frequently results in tool errors due to problematic input choices.

Here i provided GTF file as a reference annotation file downloaded from NCBI and I do also provided the dataset collection (output of Stringtie).

Can anyone please help me out in letting me know where I am getting wrong.

you might need to provide more detailed info to get meaningful answers.

One thing when working with GTF/GFF files is to make sure you are using similar sequence IDs across all files used (FASTA, GFF, ...)
