A postdoctoral position is available at the Stein Eye Institute, UCLA, to join our ongoing drug discovery efforts. We seek an independent and motivated individual with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written). The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary setting with basic scientists and clinicians. While our laboratory’s focus is small-molecule drug development, the current projects aim to develop therapies for glaucoma, retinal neovascularization, and corneal disorders. As we are working at the interface of biochemistry, bioinformatics, cell biology, chemical biology, chemistry, computational biology, and systems pharmacology, we welcome candidates with different backgrounds to apply. Interested applicants should send their CV and names of three references to jzheng@jsei.ucla.edu.
