I have a study data containing normal and Diabetic samples. However, the phenotype I am considering for my analysis is BMI. I have checked the distribution of BMI scores between these 2 sets for significant difference, I have done the same for the allele frequencies and counts. The difference is non significant in both cases. My question is, can I consider both these sets (normal & diabetic) as a single cohort for studying BMI?
