I have a genome wide very sparse custom bed track uploaded to the UCSC browser. I would like to jump to the next interval where there is data on the custom track. My current method is to display each chromosome as a whole and see where the bed track has data and zoom in but there are whole chromosomes where there is no data so I would like to have a less painful option to do that. Any ideas? Thanks

underneath the genome browser, there are some buttons (track search, add custom track, etc). There is also a button "configure". When you click on that one, you enter a menu where you can configure your browser and one of the options that is standard turned off is "Next/previous item navigation". When you switch it on, there are some arrows in the browser with which you can jump to the next feature in a track. Not sure whether it also works with custom tracks though maybe this is what you're looking for?

you could use the url parameter of the custom track to create a link to... the next segment ?
