novel miRNA identification from sequence

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a tool that can allow me to predict novel miRNA from their sequences. I tried Mireap but I'm not able to provide the "map.txt" file since I have only the bam and sam from my alignment with Bowtie2. Thanks!!
