BigWig file in IGV

Hi,

I have generated BigWig file from BAM file by bamCoverage, but whenever I checked it in IGV I can not see the reads. Please help me.

Visualizing BAM will show you reads. bigwig is a coverage graph, it will show you coverage peaks, not individual reads. That information is part of the BAM format and is lost in the bigwig summarizing operation

If you want to see reads open the BAM file in the same IGV window that the BigWig was made from.
