Hi, I am working on cactus genomics and recently I am working to find the LTRs and TIRs through EDTA. Can you please let me know If a database is available for cactus transposable elements that could be used as a reference in EDTA? Looking forward.

EDTA will find LTRs etc itself using internal programs such as LTRharvest, so you don't need to supply a DB.

I doubt anything is available for cacti - but EDTA will generate you data in fasta and GFF3 formats of the predicted repeats.
