I need to convert Zea Mays gene symbol to corresponding ZM IDs? Any suggestions please.

Use Ensembl assembly converter: https://plants.ensembl.org/Oryza_sativa/Tools/AssemblyConverter.

Species drop down menu allows you to choose Zea mays. From there choose ZM3-reference mapping.
