What happened to biomart.org

Does anyone know what happened to the biomart.org website? It seems to be all about "VPN friendly casinos" now.

Looks like EBI let the domain registration expire. The domain was picked up by someone else and turned into the site OP mentions. There used to be an umbrella site at that domain that pointed to BioMart locations for many projects around the world.

Looking at the Internet archive you can see an archival page from 2022: https://web.archive.org/web/20220825211050/http://www.biomart.org/

Maybe I am missing sth because I've never used the website but only the API and R interface, but I think the website has always been https://www.ensembl.org/biomart/martview no?
