Off topic:Using array in C++ to process biological data

I was assigned to do a C++ assignment using array:

Find and store a biological data in an array. Retrieve and process the data. Save and output the processed data in a new array.

How to do it? Where can I get the biological data?? example??

please help..bioinformatic newbie
