Bowtie 2 Error

Hi all,

I am new to ngs works. Now I am trying bowtie2 for alignment of my reads and I made the index. When I run the bowtie2 align, the following error is coming. I tried the example file and I got the same error.

Error: Encountered internal Bowtie 2 exception (#1)
Command: /usr/bin/bowtie2-align --wrapper basic-0 -x anv_S -u FN146_S1_L001_R1_001.fastq -s S1r1.sam

Can you provide the two calls for indexing and mapping which you used?
