For those of you interested in using JavaScript for data visualization in bioinformatics, the Genome Analysis Centre in Norwich, UK is hosting the annual BioJS conference this July 3-4. Registration is £50 and includes lunch and other refreshments during the conference.
Javascript/bioJS will be an area of active development for bioinformatics so this would be a useful event for many people here.
Visit the website for more information: http://conf.biojs.net/

related note: I am trying to integrate more javascript goodies in to Biostars version 3.0: http://test.biostars.org/charms/ that could be a cool way to reach lots of people
very nice! I'm getting into javascript because of araport (https://www.araport.org/) and I think we'll see more js tools in bioinformatics in the future (and workflows producing js-compatible data structures)
