Hi!

For proper HOMER installation, I have downloaded seqlogo 2.8.2. However, when I try to test it, I have only received weird outputs so far. If I select output format as PNG, I receive a completely blank PNG file. If I select output format as EPS or PDF, I receive a logo as following:

When you zoom in this image, you see weird flipped characters and stuff:

And lastly this is the GIF output:

There is no error whatsoever. I have no idea on how to proceed.

Any help or direction to help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

OS: Mac OSX Yosemite (10.10.5) & Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Relevant Programs: Perl 5.18, Ghostscipt 9.16, ImageMagick 6.9.1-10

2.8.2 sounds pretty old. Isn't weblogo up to v3.4? You might also check that various library dependencies (libpng, etc.) are all relatively modern. You could use Homebrew on OS X or apt-get on Ubuntu to install or upgrade dependencies.

I am having exact same problem with weblogo 2.8.2, and I don't think weblogo v3 is compatible with Homer. Have you fixed the problem yet? If so, please let me know!
