How To Convert Flowgram Data To Bases (Sequences)? (Or Flow Index To Base Sequence?)

I'm having trouble figuring out how the Base sequence is derived from the Flowgram and/or the Flow Index. I've seen an example or two online but when I try to verify the accuracy of my bases (sequence) data in a Read, it doesn't match what is actually in the file. Oddly enough, it's not completely wrong, it's off in various places, with some sections being identical. Can anyone explain to me how the Bases/Sequences are derived from the Flowgram data and/or the Flow Index data? Thanks!

Are you referring to Standard Flowgram Format files (SFF)? If so, what software are you using to process them? We need more details to answer this (and example input/output if possible).

This Biostars thread might help.

I noticed there is a funky looking GUI to do this sort of thing - haven't tried it though:

SFF Workbench
