Hello, I develop an application to compare 2 blast database versions. I was using UNIX diff command for testing small text files and it was working great. This command finds the differences between text files. Now, I face issues when the text files are huge. Any suggested utility which can help me to find the differences between 2 huge text files? I am using Win7, PHP, Pl. Thanks a lot.
what your input (xml, tab delimited (columns ?)) , and what do you want to compare ?
As @Pierre asked above, the use case is not clear from your description.
You want to compare blast index files (or just sequence files) using something like "diff"? You are limited to using only windows?
