Non redundant genera database

Hello ladies and gentlemen Can you guys help me? I want to create a database of non redundant sequences of a bacteria genera, how can I do this? I was trying to download the NR database from NCBI but it's so large,I just want a genera, do you guys know how to do it or know someone who might know? thank you so much for your time!

What do you mean by "non redundant sequences of a bacteria genera"? At what level genome/genes?

That does not make logical sense.

If you need genome sequences for a specific genus then look in this directory: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/genomes/refseq/bacteria/
