UPDATE: One week left to apply for these.

Open Targets, a recently established public-private initiative between the EMBL-EBI, GSK, Biogen and the Sanger Institute, is looking for two bioinformaticians to join its Core team at the EBI. The successful candidates will work on large-scale biological data analysis and integration for target identification and prioritisation.

If you enjoy working in a highly collaborative agile team, and interfacing with other backend developers, web developers and a UX designer, check the Qualifications and Experience and further details for this post on the EMBL Job Opportunities website. Closing date is July 11th 2016, and application is done online.

The European Bioinformatics Institute is based on the Wellcome Genome Campus, set in the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside. Excellent sports facilities including a gym, a free shuttle bus, an on-site nursery, cafés and restaurant, and a library are available for all campus members of staff.
