Scientific Information and Application Development – Solution Delivery & Architecture (SDA) is part of Roche’s global Pharma Research and Early Development Informatics (pREDi) Function. SDA designs, develops, builds and delivers innovative integrated scientific informatics solutions and platforms focusing on the data capture, analysis, and visualization of chemical-, biological-, and biomedical- data information and knowledge. In this position you will:

  • Take on Technical Project Management responsibility for local and global projects; Ensure compliance with Roche standards and provide professional technical, planning and architectural leadership to a cross-functional developer team
  • Design, develop and implement innovative scientific information management solutions to analyze and visualize the scientific data in the Disease and Translational Area
  • Work with complex scientific data (biology, chemistry, genetics, safety & biomedical) from various sources (in-house, commercial and public) created within different research areas
  • Collaborate closely with Roche Scientists and Domain Experts and discuss their current and future needs to ensure the end to end design and implementation meets the business requirements
  • Contribute and drive the successful implementation, integration and utilization of new future-oriented Technology platforms in a very dynamic team oriented environment
