Hi all,
I am looking for a software for HLA typing of whole genes (but exomes and genomes are also ok) that can be used with the commercial license. I also would like it to be on Ubuntu (launching in terminal)
I have found programs like HLAminer, PHLAT, ATHLATES but all of them are created for the purpose of only academic usage.
The only one I found is HLAVBSeq - promissing.
Do you know any other tool?
Best,
Agata
Many open source programs can be used in commercial settings. Generally there are tech transfer/university consul offices in academic institutions that can take care of generating the right licenses. Contact the program authors to see if you can follow that route. You would most likely have to pay a licensing fee.
