The EMBL PhD programme is open for applications. The deadline is the 21st October.
EMBL offers PhDs in both the wet and dry lab, and mixtures of the two. There are sites in Cambridge, Heidelberg, Hamburg, Grenoble, Barcelona and Rome. The PhD programme is open to all nationalities, EMBL can get visas for anyone, making EMBL a truly international organisation.
I work for EMBL, so I can tell you what EMBL is like as an organisation, but I didn't do my PhD here nor am I a researcher, so I can't answer any questions about the PhD programme.
