Hi,
Good day!
I just want to ask if I want to pursue my interest in Bioinformatics through my on-going graduate degree (MSPH-Medical Microbiology). Do I have to take higher courses in Statistics or take an introductory course in Computer Science (Phyton, C++)?
If yes, what will be your suggested courses for me to take? And why, if possible?
Thank you for your time in answering my question.
Keep safe!
Regards,

There are past threads with similar questions that you should look up.
If you are not pursuing a formal degree in bioinformatics then there is obviously no specific requirement for a course. Acquiring expertise in statistics is going to be useful for your career no matter whether you do bioinformatics or not. As for programming, python programming would be easier to master. You can then think about graduating to other languages (c++).
