Hello.

I ran fastqc quality check on WES paired end reads. I got very high Per base sequence quality scores, I guess it is normal to have such high scores. However, is it also normal to have a perfectly dark blue Per tile sequence quality plot? If yes, can I only rely on this plot to conclude that there are no bad tiles? Or should I still manually look through the fastq file to check for tiles with bad quality?

Note that when I ran an older version of fastqc, it couldn't compute per tile scores, however when I updated to the latest version of fastqc, I was able to get per tile scores.

Per base sequence quality Per tile sequence quality
