Excerpt from job description:

This individual will analyze a variety of next-gen sequencing data (WGS, Exome, RNA-seq, Methyl-seq) with a focus on the Pediatric Cancer Genome Project. This person will perform cross sample/cancer type mutational analysis and disease/clinical association studies. This individual will not only learn to leverage the existing software/tools developed at the Genome Institute, but also work with a team of statisticians and computational biologists to design and implement new algorithms to facilitate data analysis. This position also involves extensive opportunities to work with our group of computational biologists, programmers, and clinicians, and includes opportunities to initiate and contribute to publication of novel methodologies and scientific findings.
