Hello.

After loading the mauve module with the command module load mauve/mauve-2015-02-13, I'm trying to run the mauveAligner as instructed in the program's website and I get the error:

mauveAligner: command not found...

Anyone has an idea why this could be the case?

I also tried to find the path of the aligner in order to run the program with the absolute path, but couldn't find it.

Thanks.

it's a problem with the module. The program was deleted or moved, or the module is badly configured. Ask your sysadim.

I installed mauve myself and now it runs. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with loading tools as modules, but generally this issue is because the location isn't included in a directory your $PATH contains.

yes but that's module's job to set the correct PATH...

Yeah thought that might be the case!
