  1. Head of BRC Informatics Core This is a high profile role to lead the BRC’s Bioinformatics Core within the Biomarkers, Co-diagnostics, Imaging and Devices Cluster (BCID). The successful applicant will be responsible for both the development of the strategic direction of the Core and overseeing the daily operations of its staff, including prioritisation of their workload. You will be responsible for delivering high level bioinformatics support, data management and data security to researchers, and will advise on the design and execution of research programmes and administration of the BRC computational cluster.
  2. Bioinformatician - 2 positions. Seeking an individual with expertise in biological data-handling, biostatistics, and bioinformatics to complement ongoing laboratory-based research programmes in infection and immunity. The post holder will provide bioinformatics analysis and other mathematical handling of complex datasets arising from cutting-edge research programmes being conducted both in vitro and in vivo, within the Biomarker Cluster of the BRC. The post holder will work closely with a wide range of academic and clinical researchers, as well as interacting with a BRC-based team of bioinformaticians, in order to provide high quality bioinformatics input to research studies from design through to publication.
  3. Genomics Manager: We have an exciting senior level managerial position available at the BRC Genomics Core laboratory. The Genomics Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the BRC’s Genomics Core Laboratory, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to serving the BRC, the KCL research community, and other external research investigators including commercial partners. The postholder will be expected to manage and coordinate strategic and technical developments related to the Facility including services and personnel related to the BRC Genomics Core.
