Block maker has many utilities that InterProScan or multiple alignments don't easily offer, including quickly generating the great Logo displays.
Given that the original Hutch server http://blocks.fhcrc.org/blocks/ is not maintained (but still works whereas the Weizman mirror does not), is there any other online source where Block Maker or anything similar still runs?
I especially wanted to use the Blocks to 3D functionality. Is there another way I can do this?
Given this is drawing a blank (OK, so it straddled the weekend but are the fine arts of manual sequence family evolution analysis going out of fasion ?)
would anyone care to recomend which of the zillion LinkedIN bioinformatics groups might be appropriate for a re-post ?
