The title pretty much summarizes what I’m looking for. I’m willing to start from the bottom up. My only experience in comp sci is Python and I’m biology major.
And yet, I would suggest you elaborate on what the role of that mentor would be and what your goal is.

Mentoring students is a time commitment, and most people will do it only for people they know and/or when they can get something in in return. Not saying that people will be lining up to mentor an undergraduate with limited experience if they provided a more detailed info, but at least you will stand a better chance that way.
