Hello friends I hope you are doing well. I installed Orthocml by following the steps proposed by Mr.vimalkvn under the title 'Tutorial: OrthoMCL installation on Ubuntu Linux' OrthoMCL installation on Ubuntu Linux. and now I will know how to use orthocml knowing that I have several files containing protein sequences. i want to know which command line to use. and thank you in advance.
Setting up db is involved process. Read helpful posts here: Easy way to run easily orthoMCL (Copy & paste) and here : https:// gist.github.com/darencard/59df52f68c9195ea926698131f7f5d3c. I would suggest to use galaxy servers for using orthoMCL if you are new to this tool.
If you are using bacterial sequences, I suggest using Roary instead of OrthoMCL. Its considerably more user-friendly.
