Filtering Biostars posts to only those *written* today

When trying to get recent, open posts here on Biostarx by filtering to 'Today', there seems to be an awful lot of (auto?)-moderation necromancy pulling threads up to the top:

what exactly are you up to, @Ram?

is there a way to filter out "old threads", or just...be careful?

I don't see any old posts in browser when using : https://www.biostars.org/?limit=today

Are you using RSS feed or something else?

Native website. Try /t/open/?limit=today

Not sure if there is a way around this. One of the mods is cleaning up old threads so they appear in the list. I will make the biostars dev team aware of this thread and see if they can do something.

Thanks GenoMax. @LChart, the reason I started the cleanup process was because the new website stopped pushing these necro posts back to the front page after I cleaned them up. Are you pulling /t/open?limit=today into a feed of some sort?

I'm not an automoderator BTW, I just use a lot of automation tools :-D

Nope; I was browsing /t/open/?limit=today just to find anything to which I could contribute; and thought something was fishy when I noticed that the post I was replying to was from 2016.

I think following seems to work the way you wanted the data to show up:

https://www.biostars.org/t/open/?limit=today+created

If it does let me know and I can move this comment to an answer.
