Hi,

I am completely new to gkno.

I followed the instruction from https://github.com/gkno/gkno_launcher/wiki/Documentation#installing in order to install it.

It first failed apparently because the networkX Python library was missing. I thus installed the library but the gkno install failed again with the following message :

fatal: reference is not a tree: e592dc2361f6de15c26969f4954624d5f4d2517e Unable to checkout 'e592dc2361f6de15c26969f4954624d5f4d2517e' in submodule path 'src/configurationClass' Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/ma/gkno_launcher/src/gkno.py", line 19, in import configurationClass.configurationClass ImportError: No module named configurationClass.configurationClass

Does anyone know what I am expected to do here ?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Ma

There have been a few updates to gkno in the last days, have you tried installing it since?

Hi,

I just tried again with the very same procedure and... it is much better. After installing the missing dependancies several tools were built successfully but not all (scissors, vcflib, mosaik, mutatrix, jellyfish). I am currently digging in the logs files. From what I understand there are several pbs:

  1. #error "SSE2 instruction set not enabled". This is due to the fact that my system is 32 bits as far as I understand and could be solved like this : Installing Bwa On 32 Bit Unix Machine ?
  2. Can't exec "libtoolize". I should install libtool ? With: sudo apt-get install libtool?
  3. Maybe something else but we'll see.

Any feedback welcome.

Thanks again.

Ma
