Hi,
I know that may be plenty of this kind of tools.
I guess there may be the chance that really focused and expert data-miners could not easily retrieve the identity and meaning of attributes in datasets like the Kent Ridge Bio-medical Dataset (an online repository of high-dimentional biomedical data sets, including gene expression data, protein profiling data and genomic sequence)
I just completed the first part of this tool that i made during my free time during the past few days. I wanted to give also to non biologists a practical way to retrieve the identity of probeset ids and related info of some of the most referenced dataset used for data-mining.
I also integrated some other dataset from a more "clinical" perspective to complete the picture.
it is possible to make queries on specific tables or browse the entire tables via php.
here is the link.

hope this is the right place to post this. Apologies in case it is not.

The Kent Ridge Bio-medical Dataset that you link to is a nice resource.
You should take their example and release your data the same way, as downloadble simple datasets. Also asking people to log in just to test out the search on your site is a bad idea.
Thank you for your feedback. I am working about the logging, for now I provided a really simple user password schema.
I meant to do something different and to give the chance, for instance, to translate the probeset id in to a gene name, associated GO terms, annotated pathways and so on.
Data are exportable in different formats: csv, HTML and others
Thank you again
