My supervisor ask me to do pharmacogenomics kind of work

So are you trying to predict effective drugs given a set of mutations or determine the effect of mutations on drug metabolism and/or efficacy? This is completely ambiguous from what you wrote, though I'm guessing the latter given your mention of pharmacogenomics.
