It hosts nearly 100 investigators working in the fields of pediatric leukemia, solid tumors, immunology and stem cell transplantation. Tightly associated with St. Anna Children´s hospital, the biggest center for pediatric hematology and oncology in Austria and one of the leading treatment centers for children with cancer in Europe, the CCRI performs basic, translational and clinical research. Can you please specify the start date of the job and also last date of application. Are people finishing PhD by November also eligible for contesting?
I think you could just write an email to the address above, it is a valid question.
I would still wait for the OP to reply else I would ask shoot an email to the concerned person. But problem lies in that these emails are usually not very much taken into considerations, so it will be clear if these informations are mentioned in job postings as well. Usually in most job posting it is mentioned completed PhD degree or M.Sc degree holder or finishing PhD degree holder for current academic year. Also the last date of application and joining date the job (approximate time frame). If these informations are added then I guess it will be easier. This is my opinion but other might beg to differ.
Start date is September to November 2016. Applications are welcome until the position is filled, which I expect will be the case 6 to 8 weeks from now. If you finish your PhD November that's a bit late for us, but then a good candidate is worth waiting for. So you might try.
Hello!
Just at the edge of the 8 weeks you mention: is the position still open?
Thank you!
Yes, the position has not been filled yet.
Thank you very much for the information!
