Without choosing sides or judging I removed the comments made earlier since these don't add to the thread and develop in a personal discussion which doesn't belong on biostars.
I suggest keeping this discussion only for candidates for the job. If you have any personal conflicts, perhaps it's most appropriate to discuss those directly and not throw mud on biostars.
