Upgrade Ubuntu 16.04 to Bio Linux 8

Hello, I'm newbie to linux and I was trying to upgrade my actual version of Ubuntu 16.04.1 to Bio Linux 8. But after doing the tutorial on the website, this error appears:

You mean downgrade to Biolinux. Biolinux is based on Ubuntu 14.04 version. I recommend not doing it.

What do you mean upgrade? BioLinux is a specific alternative Linux distribution, you should be installing it as anew image from scratch no?

If you want a linux distro with bioinformatics support baked in, consider checking out the Genomics Virtual Laboratory (GVL). Searches for GVLv4 should yield something useful.
