Hi All,
I was thinking this might be interesting for some doing RNA/DNA sequencing and library preps. We have established home-made methods for HT RNA/DNA extraction (from virtually any source) with self-made functionalized magnetic beads costing just a small fraction of commercial solutions, yet giving nice and pure nucleic acids.
We also make all the protocols freely available for the community, you can find them on bioRxiv (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/early/2018/09/12/414516) or https://bomb.bio website. I hope you will find it useful ...
Cheers,
Tomek
Hi tpjurkowski,
That sounds pretty cool! It's a bit off topic here though, since this forum is meant to be exclusively about bioinformatics. I have edited your post to 'News', because it's not really a bioinformatics 'Tool'. The preprint is in my to-read list ;)
Cheers,
Wouter
Hi WouterDeCoster, Thank you for the edit. Yes, you are right, indeed it is not a bioinformatics tool, yet would allow making NGS or working with any kind of nucleic acids easier, cheaper and faster, thus I hope it could be still useful for some here doing also some wet lab.
Cheers, Tomek
Please post this over at SeqAnswers.com. More useful there.
Edit: I see that you have already done so.
