Dear All,

I am trying to perform functional annotation of my metagenomic ORFs, and looking specifically for genes involved in Iron and Sulphur metabolism. Can anyone recommend a specific database for this homology search and mapping?

Thank you!

Search in NCBI gives some bacterial and B.taurus iron-related genes.[gene]%20AND%20alive[prop]%20NOT%20newentry[gene]%20&sort=weight

There is some information for both iron and sulfur:

C: Trying to parse the SwissProt keywlist.txt with biopython
