Hi, I have a question, it probably sounds a little stupid but whatever, some of you know how I could download all sequences of a gene (phy for example) of a specific taxon from NCBI?
DNA or protein sequence?; please provide a specific and official Latin name for a test taxon. There is likely a solution via Entrez ESearch. For example, take a look at my final script, here: https://github.com/kevinblighe/PythonScripts
Others are more experienced at this, so, perhaps wat untlll Monday.
This is going to be a bit tricky. You can try this search at NCBI. You can add names of organism as an
AND Pinus [ORGN]to search to limit to specific organisms.
