Dating Common Ancestor

Hello,

I have 10 strains sequenced with NGS, and I have called polymorphisms and was able to reconstruct a phylogeny of these strains.

The bad news is that I do no have an outgroup, since the strains are very similar to each other and there is no available reference sequenced. The good news is that different isolates are from different time points (years), spanning 2007 to 2011. Some isolates are from the same year.

What is the best tool to try and date the last common ancestor?

Adrian

The title of your post is kind of funny... I misread it at first :)

I wonder how the date went, perhaps they are married with children by now.
