How to run BBMap software on Linux Ubuntu?

I run BBMap.sh ref=sequence.fasta

It says:

I: command not found
user@user-MS-7817:~/Documents/bbmap$

sequence.fasta in the same directory with BBmap

How to run BBMap software on Linux Ubuntu?

It should be ./bbmap.sh ref=seq.fa

or add path of bbmap folder to .bashrc file
